Symposium ‘Music & Dementia’ 23rd June 2017
The symposium ‘Music & Dementia’ took place on the 23rd of June 2017 in De Harmonie. Speakers were secretary of state under resignation of VWS Martin van Rijn, senior lecturer at the University of Sussex Nigel Marshall and co-director of EMBRACE Nederland Philip Curtis.
“Music gives a feeling of safety and coming home. It brings welfare and can improve the quality of life of people with dementia.” Martin van Rijn ended his talk with these words.
