Summer Festival Wender and Embrace finale of a season of jamming

With the Summer Festival, Wender and Embrace Netherlands concluded the joint music project for homeless people Monday. Hairdresser José Eijzenga along with two colleagues cut more than 30 people. The Stiens-based hair salon is affiliated with the Barber Angels Brotherhood, which selflessly cuts homeless people. There were snacks and lots of music.

Live music during the Summer Festival was provided by the Wender homeless band accompanied by musicians from Embrace Netherlands. The performance was the festive conclusion of the project, which will continue after the summer vacation.

In between coronalockdowns, visitors from the daycare and a regular group of musicians from Embrace played with each other every Monday afternoon. In August, so to speak, the project will be restarted.
