What is the value of music in palliative care? That question took center stage Wednesday afternoon during a theme meeting organized by Netwerken Palliatieve Zorg Fryslân. Embrace Netherlands has developed the program Musical Moments for this purpose and gave an explanation.
Over eighty care professionals heard the scientific foundation of the added value of music in palliative care, received guidance on how to apply it in their daily work and were treated to a “musical bath” by musicians from Embrace Netherlands. The Leeuwarder Courant noted this report.
